Advent 2020 - The songs of Christmas
In Luke 1, the good news of the coming Messiah bursts onto the scene. Christ, the long-awaited Savior of God’s people has come! What can the recipients of this good news do but sing and offering worship to God. Their whole lives, and the whole world, is about to change. God’s Kingdom is here!
During this Advent season, we want to do intentional practices that help us as a church and as individuals prepare our hearts to celebrate the arrival of King Jesus.

2020 Christmas Offering
Each Christmas, we want to collect an offering as a church to help fund Kingdom work in our city, our nation, and around the world. This year, we have the goal of raising $5,000 as a church family to go towards the following two partners:
Serve Charlotte is the local outreach ministry of Citizens Church. As a church family we want to be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving and building relationships with the most vulnerable and marginalized in our city.
We do this primarily through partnering with local organizations in the Charlotte area.
The Mission Church is a church plant in Roanoke, VA, that exists to make disciples of the people who live, learn, and play in and around the city of Norfolk. Citizens is connected to The Mission Church through the Harbor Network, a national church planting network of 90+ like-minded churches.
