WORK: Redeeming our labor

work.jpeg

The average person will spend 90,000 hours, or 10 years, of their life working. Whether it’s punching the clock, creating the spreadsheet, taking the test, feeding the kids, or any other number of things, work fills up a lot of our lives.

For some people, work is a boring and draining means to an end. For others, work is their driving motivation behind value and purpose. In other words - some of us work to live, and others of us live to work.

But is there a better way? Does the Bible offer more hope than simply “getting by” in our work or viewing our work as everything? What was God’s original design for work and how has the fall and history changed that?

This series takes six weeks to explore the nature and purposes of work through the lens of the Scriptures.
